Outskirts Condominium

Outskirts Condominium

This project was a proposal for an Apartment Block in N. Erithrea, at the outskirts of Athens. The corner plot has a surface of 315.60 sqm and is surrounded by the verdant environment of the northern Athenian suburb. The multi-storey building with 5.00 mm wide lawn planted street fronts, is developed on five floors of independent apartments, one per each floor, and it also includes a basement. All the apartments due to the privileged location of the building have an excellent view towards the dense plantation of the area.

Specifically, the ground floor includes a small apartment of 30 sq.m consisting of a living room, a kitchen, a single bedroom and a bathroom. The apartments of the next three floors have an area of 133.50 sq.m and consist of a living room, with the emblematic glazing from floor to ceiling facing the junction of the streets, a dining area, a kitchen and three bedrooms with balconies. The balconies have different geometries which enhances the perception of the building with the intense shadows that are created. The fourth floor apartment is significantly smaller having an area of 67 sq.m with a living room, a kitchen, a single bedroom and a bathroom.

Finally, the visitable rooftop is a shared area that can be used by all tenants. The storage of all apartments, the boiler and the other mechanical installations of the building are located in the basement of the building.
