In 2002, our practice in collaboration with other practices undertook the design and construction supervision of a complex consisting of Warehouses and Offices for Mevgal SA in Ano Liosia, Athens.
The Warehouse Building is a steel structure clad with panels, whereas the office building is a reinforced concrete structure. The building facades are made of glass panels and an additional skin of louvers is placed in front of them. The combination of the metallic elements (louvers) with the glass panels, the repetition of the steel structure elements of the warehouse spanning 30 meters and the entrance decorative spaceframes, result, despite the several different uses, in the creation of a uniform environment.
